It made me think: “Everyone favors their flavor.” Today, grocery stores, ice cream shops, and restaurants offer a vast array of flavors. If food engineering in the ice cream industry were applied to dating, every man would be a Casanova!
While plain vanilla is easy to find, locating a specific pistachio ice cream might require a trip across town. Interestingly, a study by a renowned U.S. university found that people would rather skip ice cream than settle for a flavor that isn’t their favorite.
This level of selectiveness doesn’t seem to apply to humor. Perhaps it’s because we’re so starved for happiness that we gratefully accept any crumbs of humor. Humor comes in many forms: general or dark, clean or dirty, slapstick or witty, satire or politically correct, and more.
